Time

It is very possible to perform a complete and comprehensive hitting-drills session, without undue haste or unnecessary fatigue, within a 15 to 20 minute duration. If you want to be a great hitter, then carve out and reserve at least 15 minutes a day, several days per week. The average U.S. teen spends an approximate 4 cumulative hours each day texting and web-surfing and messaging and gaming, so save your your thumbs and get to swinging!

Scientist Charles Darwin said, “A man who dares waste one hour of his life has not discovered the value of life.” Determine if the value of hitting is worth the price of 15 or 20 minutes, several times per week. If it’s not, text and game and surf away and leave the hitting to the few, the proud, and the dwindling number of baseball players willing to forget instant gratification in lieu of a potential future of hitting prowess.
